Our clients were facing challenges of diminishing scientific engagement of KOLs and medical advisors at global conferences.
Through one-to-one interaction with top KOLs, we identified the primary problem was, at the international forums where the audience was large and varied, they got lesser opportunity to interact and address their geography specific issues, and that is why they were not opting those platforms as knowledge enhancer. Too many meetings but not targeted to specific educational need of audience.
As a solution to tackle this issue and increase participation from KOLs, we designed a separate country specific program for KOLs in parallel to Global conference of specific to the therapy area. Where both country specific KOLs and Global KTLs would present their work, interact for practice harmonization.
We experienced a more than double fold increase in KOL participation in such platform and also they found it is a better way to showcase country specific clinical practices for an evidence based learning.
