Dr. Shoham has over 20 years of experience in the management of patients with invasive infections and is the author or co-author of over 100 original articles, book chapters and topic reviews. He is a nationally recognized expert in infectious diseases of immunocompromised patients and his research explores diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of infections in such patients. He is also an investigator and data safety board monitor for multiple COVID-19 clinical trials. Dr. Shoham serves as a reviewer and expert consultant to multiple journals, professional societies, hospitals and government agencies in the US and numerous countries abroad.
He is a member of professional guideline committees for the American Society of Transplantation (AST), the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer/Invasive Fungal Infections Cooperative Group and Infectious Diseases Mycoses Study Group (EORTC/MSG) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). He is also a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America guideline panel for treatment of COVID-19. Dr. Shoham is the recipient of numerous awards including the American College of Physicians' (Washington, DC Chapter) laureate award, their highest honor.

Dr Grothey’s clinical interests focus on gastrointestinal cancers, in particular colorectal cancer, Hepatocellular carcinoma, antiangiogenesis, signal transduction inhibitors, and clinical trial design and statistics. As a consultant and investigator, his research has been funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Institutes of Health, among other organizations. He currently co-chairs the NCI Gastrointestinal Cancer Steering Committee after having served as chair of the NCI Colon Cancer Task Force for 6 years. Until June 2018 he was vice chair of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, an NCI-funded cooperative group. He is also chaired the Academic and Community Cancer Research United (ACCRU) international research network based at Mayo Clinic until he joined West Cancer Center.

Dr. Tariq Mughal, MD is a leader in hematology. He has held senior leadership roles in centers of excellence for the treatment of cancer, as well as primary referral centers, in the UK, USA and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Mughal has published over 120 peer reviewed papers, 30 cancer text book chapters and 13 cancer books. He is the recipient of a number of awards, including those from the UK Royal College of Physicians, American College of Physicians, Swiss humanitarian groups and in 2014 was awarded the Highly Commendable British Medical Association Cancer Book Award. Currently he is a Professor of Hematology/Oncology at Buckingham University and Tufts University Medical Center and has clinics in London.
A young, passionate physician, Dr Muneera, was a doctor-in-charge at Emirates Field Hospital, and at isolation facilities at Raha and Bab Al Qasr set up and run by Medi Q Healthcare in partnership with the UAE government. Currently, she is working with NHS, London. She is also pursuing her MSc in internal medicine from Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh University.
Dr. Naba Ghosh is a board-certified pharmacotherapy professional by American College of Clinical Pharmacy. He has received advanced fellowship program in clinical oncology, haematology and immunotherapy from the University of UKGM, Germany. He attended a post-graduate general management program in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Naba is also a visiting faculty in many international universities and institutions. Naba had the opportunity to serve a major healthcare practice continuum, including consulting and clinical education for the pharma industry, academia, clinicians, and allied support function.
